In Missouri, Medicaid will reimburse hospitals for the cost of donor milk for critically ill babies or those in the NICU.
Families in Missouri are served by The Oklahoma Mothers’ Milk Bank and The Milk Bank in Indiana.
The Milk Bank in Indiana offers a medical relief fund to help cover the processing costs of milk for babies who are eligible.
The Oklahoma Mothers’ Milk Bank considers each request on a case-by-case basis.
